As you may have heard there have been videos floating around the internet, that the new iPhone 6 Plus will bend when put under pressure. While the people who have preformed these tests haven't used any science to prove it, or proven that the phone they are really bending is the iPhone 6. I mean that over the summer companies have been making fake iPhone 6's that look just like the real ones, so the people who are bending the iPhones might not really be bending real iPhones at all. So, Consumer Reports decided to test the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and the LG G3. Surprisingly the HTC One M8 was the weakest phone out of the competitors bending at 70 pounds. While the iPhone 6 also bended at 70 pounds too and the 6 Plus bent at 90 pounds. The LG G3 and the iPhone 5 tied at 130 pounds. But, the Note 3 could take the most amount of weight at 150 pounds. Consumer Reports went further and determined that the HTC One M8 stopped working at 90 pounds, the iPhone 6 stopped at 100 pounds, the iPhone 6 Plus stopped at 110 pounds, the LG G3 stopped at 130 pounds, the iPhone 5 stopped at 150 pounds, and the Note 3 at 150 pounds too. Consumer Reports says that the iPhone's bending really easily isn't true. Watch their video below.
